Not Your Average Dispensary

Rochester's only sit-down cannabis bar, right here in the Neighborhood of the Arts.

Our Story

Four Cousins, One Vision

Four cousins from four different careers walked into a building on University Ave and asked a simple question: what if a dispensary felt like a place you actually wanted to be?

Not a waiting room. Not a checkout counter behind plexiglass. A real spot — with bar stools and smell jars and someone who genuinely wants to talk to you about what you're buying. They'd all been to enough sterile dispensaries to know what they didn't want. So they built what they wished existed.

One of them spent 23 years teaching earth science, which explains a lot about how this place works — the smell jars, the conversations, the instinct to teach before selling anything. The bar layout came before the business plan. The stool count came before the SKU count. Every decision started with the same question: what would make someone want to come back?

"We really want people to enjoy their time, to learn some things and want to come back."

The Experience

Six Stools Changed Everything

That's it. Six stools at a bar. And somehow that changes the entire dynamic of buying cannabis. When you're sitting down, you're not rushing. You're not standing in line wondering who to talk to. You're having a conversation — and the conversation is the whole point.

  • Smell Before You Buy Open a jar. Take your time. Your nose knows more than any menu description ever will — and it's the fastest way to figure out what you actually like.
  • Budtenders, Not Salespeople Nobody here is working on commission or trying to upsell you. They're trying to figure out what you'll love — which starts with listening, not pitching.
  • Two Ways to Shop Want to explore? Grab a stool. Already know what you want? The kiosk is right there. No judgment either way — some days you're here to discover, some days you're here to grab and go.
  • Education as Conversation We don't do lectures. We don't do "Cannabis 101." We just answer your questions — whether that's "what's a terpene?" or "what's the best flower you've got right now?"

Your First Visit

Never been to a dispensary before? That's completely fine — you're not the first person to walk in without a plan, and you won't be the last. Here's how it works.

  1. Walk In

Someone says hi. You show your ID (just a valid one — no medical card needed). That's the hardest part, and it takes about ten seconds.

  2. Choose Your Path

Grab a stool at the bar for a conversation, or head to the kiosk if you already know what you want. Your call — both are right there.

  3. Explore & Ask

This is the good part. Open some smell jars. Ask whatever you're wondering — "what won't make me too high?" is a great question, and we hear it all the time.

  4. Check Out & Go

Cash or debit. Grab your bag. And if you want to skip the whole in-store thing, we've got online ordering and delivery too.

What We Believe

These aren't corporate values drafted by a brand agency. They're the things we agreed on before we ever signed a lease.

You Should Smell It Before You Buy It

Every product on our shelves comes from a licensed New York grower we've actually talked to. We carry about 200 products from roughly 30 brands — and every single one is something we'd recommend to a friend. If we wouldn't buy it, we don't stock it.

Asking Questions Is the Whole Point

We built a bar inside a dispensary because cannabis should be a conversation, not a transaction. Whether you want to geek out about terpene profiles or you just want to know what's good for a Friday night — we're here for that.

Your Neighborhood Dispensary Should Actually Be Part of Your Neighborhood

We're in NOTA because this is where Rochester comes to discover things. First Friday gallery walks, local art on our walls, Rochester-made products on our shelves. A dispensary that doesn't know its neighborhood is just a vending machine.
